Five tables of bridge were played, play-ed, Mrs. Sophia Thurgood winning win-ning the club prize and Mrs. Mag-git Mag-git Crump the guest prize. Other guests were Mrs. Nelda Christen-sen, Christen-sen, Mrs. Sylvia Swenson, Mrs. Fern, Johison, end Mrs. Faye Christensen. the latter of Provo. Mrs. Will Money entertained a group of ladies at an all day quilting quilt-ing Friday in honor of her birthday birth-day anniversary. A hot dinner was served at 12:30 to twelve guests. Idaho, was the honored gue.'.t at a recent dinner party for 22 immediate relative:? of her- family, in honor of her 75th birthday anniversary. Rawlings, Salt Lake City district attorney, was elected chairman of the Democratic state committee, to succeed Olof R. Michelsen. of Richfield at the committee reorganization held Saturday night in the Newhouse hotel. The vote was 40' to 26 M: Rawlings was formerly vice chairman. chair-man. Mrs. Frank W. Penrose was reelected associate chairwoman, defeating Mrs. Reva Beck Bosone by an overwhelming vote. Others named were Lewis Jones, Brig-ham Brig-ham City, first vice chairman; Wesley Pryor, Cedar City, second vice president; Mr?. Etta Spend-love, Spend-love, Richfield, first associate vice chairwoman; Mrs. Merribel Stevenson Stev-enson of Ogden, second associate vice chairwoman. J. Ed Wilson of Milford was elected state committee com-mittee treasurer. George B. Stanley of Heber and George S. Ballif of Provo contended that each was certified as the representative from the Fourth Judicial district on the committee. In a compronvse decision, de-cision, each was given half a vote. MAMMOTH RESIDENT CALLED BY DEATH PAYSON. - Martin Ferdinand Gunderson, 57, died Saturday morning at hLs home in Mammoth after an illness of two months with pneumonia. He wa.s born January 17, 1879. at Santaquin, a 9on of Mathias and Marie Gunderson. He had been a store proprietor in Mammoth Mam-moth for the oast 20 years. His wife, Nora Richards Gunderson, whom he married in the Salt Lake temple, died October 14, 1934. Surviving are hi.s mother, Mrs Marie Gunderson, Santaquin; six sons and four daughters. Arnold Gunderson, Bingham; Otis Gunderson, Gun-derson, Los Angeles; Quay. Clinton Clin-ton and Martin Gunderson Jr.. Mammoth; Evan Gunderson, Eureka; Eu-reka; Mrs. H. E. Bradley. Price; Noreen, Coleen, and Josie Gunderson, Gun-derson, Mammoth; four grandchildren; grand-children; one brother, Albert Gunderson, Gun-derson, Santaquin; three sisters. Mrs, Louise Newton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Clara Leminar, and Mrs. Thea Higginson, Santaquin. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in Mammoth. Interment will be in the Santaquin cemetery. Heart Ailment Fatal To Spanish Fork Girl SPANISH FORK. Eleanor Solveig Johnson, 10, died Sunday morning at the family home of a heart ailment. She had been seriously ser-iously ill two weeks. She wa.s boin at Spanish Fork, Oct 17. 1925. Her parents are Gilbert A. and Jane Eleanor Lewis Johnson. She was a pupil of the Third grade Central school. Surviving are her- parents, one brother, David Da-vid Lewis Johnson, and one sister. sis-ter. Francis Johnson The body i.s at the Anderson Mortuary and funeral arrangements will be announced an-nounced later. Sire was a granddaughter grand-daughter of the late David T.
