Bureau Bu-reau of Reclamation today to study the plans and specifications for the $3,000,000 Pine Valley dam which is to be constructed on the Oerden river 10 miles east of the city. The dam, which will be constructed con-structed with funds loaned by the PWA, will inundate the basin from which the city obtains its water supply. Tie city officials desired to survey the plans, before be-fore they were accepted, to make sure that the city water supply was well protected. Those who were in Denver today to-day for the conference were: Mayor Harman W. Perry, Commissioner Com-missioner Fred E. Williams; Harry Har-ry Irwin, superintendent of the waterworks; Claude L. Coray, city engineer; L. J. Halter, attor- i ney for the Ogden River water- i users' association, and George P. i Taylor, vice president of the association. as-sociation. The dam will impound 38,000 j acre-feet of water for irrigation i purposes.
