Show Screening slated The Cancer Screening and Prevention Program, Utah Department of Health, in cooperation with the American Cancer Society and the Davis County Health department, will provide cancer screening clinics for women at the following locations: Farmington South Stake Center, 695 S. 200 E, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bountiful Utah Stake Center, 200 N. 200 W., Thursday, Feb. 14, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call 538-6712 for an appointment. Appointments are necessary for these clinics. The clinics will include a Pap test, pelvic and breast examination, blood pressure check, hemocult kits to test for colorectal cancer, health education information on risk factors, signs and symptoms of cancer and referral for appropriate medical follow-up. The examinations are given by specially trained registered nurses. All women 18 years of age or older, or who are sexually active, who have not had a Pap test during the past year are encouraged to attend. A foe ranging from $4 to $22 will be charged, based on annual family income and family size. Although these clinics are being held in church buildings, they are for all women regardless of religious affiliation. i "I |
