Show Death claims geology prof Ray Everett Marsell, professor emeritus in the Department of Geology, died Monday of natural causes in a Salt Lake hospital. Prof. Marsell was awarded an honorary gree in professional engineering by the University and had taught here since 1926. His specialty was geological engineering and development of Utah's underground water resources. He had been a geological consu Itant for Salt Lake City since 1931 and after officially retmng from the University in 1958, was a filiated with the Utah State Division of Natural Resources. His funeral will be Thursday noon at 260 t. South Temple. |
