Show Executive Council studies finals By Dave Gordon Staff Writer The Executive Council of the Associated Students of the University of Utah (ASUU) approved a Faculty Council recommendation to eliminate final examination scheduling with two stipulations. ASUU asks that the intent of the Proposal, which has been reported as a liberalization of final warn policies, be spelled out in faculty Council minutes, and that proposal be subject to final approval after one quarter's trial. Whether or not to have a final and scheduling under the new Proposal will be determined by w professor at the departmental Wei and will require the approval J . the departmental student advisory committee. Eliminates KUTE ASUU Executive Council approved suspension of KUTE, student radio station, subject to the establishment of a student-faculty board of directors for KUER. KUTE facilities and equipment will be turned over to KUER. Approval was given for the establishment of a student public relations service. The purpose of the public relations service will be to coordinate publicity of student sponsored events.
