Show BYU NettersA Brigham Young University has a very powerful tennis team. For proof, just ask Coach Harry James and the Utah netters. The Cougars beat Utah handily, Friday in Provo, 8 to 1, and this made it two for two BYU dual meet victories over the Utes this season. BYU captured all the singles matches, and then barely lost one of three doubles matches. Only the Utah team of Scott Bennion and Paul Hoffman could muster the win to stop a shutout. The only other Redskins who even came close to winning were Jim Foulger in the number five singles against Chuck Pate, and the number num-ber two doubles team of Laury Hammel and Foulger against Coug ars' Larry Hall and Dave George. The results: Singles No. 1: Larry Hall (BYU) def. Dale Fritz (U), 7-5, 6-2; No. 2: Keith Nielsen (BYU) def. Laury Hammel (U), 6-1, 6-3; No. 3: Dave George (BYU) def.
