L ( "3 Lie -1 .,(l.,.Ji;- ::4 triday mght Utah basketball fans will be treated to some of the finest basketball talent in the nation when the Los Angeles Lakers and the Baltimore Bullets perform an exhibition ex-hibition contest in Einer Nielson Fieldhouse at 8 p.m. Such all time greats as Elgin Baylor, eight times all pro, and Jerry West, equally as good, making mak-ing the all pro squad six seasons straight, will be leading the Lakers. The Bullets boast the talents of former Idaho standout, Gus Johnson. John-son. Johnson leads the Balitmore scoring attack with fantastic shooting shoot-ing from his forward position. High scoring Earl Monroe, the sensation who was at or over the 40 point mark during his senior year at Winston-Salem gives the Bullets a great one-two punch. These two teams bring some of the best scorers in NBA history to the Ute court Friday night. West averaged 28.7 points last season to place third in the pro ranks. Baylor Bay-lor recovered from knee injuries and. had one of his finest seasons with an average of 26.6. Baltimore's Johnson was also among the leaders lead-ers in 10th place with a 20.7 average. aver-age. Even though the Redskin hardwoods hard-woods will be covered with so much experienced and well known talent, the majority of fans in the Ute Barn will have their interest centered on the return of former Utah great Jerry Chambers. Chambers Cham-bers will be making his first Utah appearance since leading the Redskins Red-skins to the semi-finals of the '66 NCAA Championships. Good tickets are still available at the Ute Fieldhouse and the Mint Cafe. Students will be admitted for half price with I.D. cards.
