Show ROTC Sponsors Slate Tea The annual Army Sponsor membership tea will be held on Tuesday, September 27. All girls of the freshman and sophomore class are invited to attend be- tween 2 and 5 in UB 304. Application blanks will be available. Interviews will be held Thursday and Friday from 1 to 6 in UB 279. Army Sponsors is a corps of 35 University women who are chosen to sponsor the Army ROTC cadets, provide socials and serve as ushers at University Univer-sity functions and games. Last year the sponsor drill team distinguished themselves by placing 1st in the Lilac Invitational Invi-tational Drill Meet in Spokane, Wash.. The Sponsor Colonel for the coming year is Connie Duncan who will coordinate activities with new ROTC Army Colonel Plant. |
