Staff members are: Managing editor, Paul Taylor; Editorial Assistant, Steve Gunn; Sports Assistant, Mac Backman ; Off-Campus Assistant, Steve Swinney; Campus Assistant, Harris Vincent; Society Assistant, Assist-ant, Susan Pratt; Copy-Layout-Makeup Chief, Jeannette Brown ; Chief Reporter, Sandra Telford. The Business Manager, selected in the spring by Publications Council, is Jim Nichols. Mr. Nichols, a junior majoring major-ing in engineering, is a transfer student from Weber State. He has worked on the business staff for one year. Scholarship Winner Paul Taylor, Managing Editor, Edi-tor, is the recipient of the Sig- Steering Committee, Spotlight, Challenge. He is also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. K. U. E. R. Broadcaster Sports Assistant Mac Back-man, Back-man, a senior majoring in journalism, jour-nalism, is a member of the Inter-collegiate Knights. He w a s chairman of the spring whitewash. white-wash. Backman, who has been on the Chronicle staff for two years, has also helped broadcast broad-cast games for K.U.E.R. radio. Steve Swinney, Off-Campus Assistant, has been active on the Chronicle staff for two years. A native of Los Angeles, Swinney is Collegiate Press Service Liaison Liai-son for the Chronicle.
