Show Ticket Sales Increase Symphony to Return For Oct. 12 Concert resentative in the Huddle ticket booth selling tickets. On Wednesday, October 12th, at 8:30 p.m., Maestro Maurice Abravanel will conduct the opening open-ing concert of the Utah Symphony. Sym-phony. The 27th season promises many things to season ticket holders. Two new artists will perform. Violinist Henryk Szer-yng Szer-yng will play with the Orchestra in March. Also making his first appearance will be pianist Jerome Jer-ome Lowenthal. The season will also hold repeat re-peat performances by such favorites fa-vorites as Grant Johannesen, Van Cliburn, Jose Iturbi, Z a r a Nelsova, Berl Senofsky, Florence Flor-ence Kopleff , Madame G i n a Bachauer, and Arthur Fiedler. Highest Attendance The only assurance of getting tickets for the concerts of the Utah Symphony is with season tickets. Ticket sales have increased in-creased steadily. According to the last available figures as pub-' pub-' lished by the American Symphony Sympho-ny Orchestra League, the per capita attendance at Utah Symphony Sym-phony concerts was the highest Ffor any major or metropolitan rchestra in the United States.
