Show Chambers Heads WAC Stats With 269 Points in First 11 By MAC BACKMAN Chronicle Assoc. Sports Editor Utah's star center Jerry Chambers Cham-bers leads the Western Athletic Conference scoring parade with 269 points in 11 games. The Redskin star is also averaging 24.5 points per game to rank him third in the WAC in ppg. OTHER UTES figuring high in WAC state include forwards George Fisher and Jeff Ockel plus guard Rich Tate. DICK NEMELKA, BYU's fabulous fab-ulous guard, leads all WAC players play-ers in points per game (26.5) and field goal percentage (.616). Nemelka has hit 239 points in only nine games to make him an All-American candidate Chambers with .610, is right behind Nemelka to rank second in field goal percentage.
