Show IM Football Opens Today This year's season on Intramural Intra-mural Athletics begins today with competition between eight class B football teams. Games are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the field just east of the Sill Home Living Center. Games scheduled to be played are as follows: Sigma Alpha Epsilon No. 4 vs. Beta Theta Pi No. 6 field No. I. Phi Delta Theta No. 5 vs. Sigma Chi No. 6 field No. 2. Pi Kappa Alpha No. 5 vs. Kappa Sigma No. 3 field No. 3. Sigma Phi Epsilon No. 2 vs. Van Cott B No. 2 field No. 4. All tennis courts will probably be in use today for intramural tennis doubles. Times for all matches will be set by the players play-ers for their convenience but must be completed by a deadline for such round. THE INTRAMURAL program at the University provides extensive exten-sive athletic participation for any and all men on campus. The value of the Intramural program is that it enables all men a chance to compete with each other. Whether you are an independent inde-pendent or belong to an organization, or-ganization, you are urged to share in the competition that the program offers. Other sports besides football and tennis doubles taking place fall quarter are volleyball, bowling bowl-ing and table tennis. Information and schedules of games as well as rules for all sports may be picked up at Room 200 of the Gym. |
