Show 2 Geologists To Conduct Flying Tour Two University geologists are the talk of the East High School Science Club this week. ON SATURDAY they will take the club's 44 members on an eight hour study tour of the earth by air. Dr. Ray E. Marsell, professor emeritus, and associate professor profes-sor Harry D. Goode, will head the 1100 - mile expedition east to Flaming Gorge, south to Grand Canyon and north to Salt Lake City. j FOUR NATIONAL parks and five national monuments are scattered in between. The students will see 45 ge- ! ological features of Utah from the air. Among them: Split Mountain (once a "buried mountain moun-tain range," the Red Wash Oil Field of Vernal, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse Point State Park, Lake Powell, Marble Canyon, Kaibab Plateau, and Lot Lake, |
