Show Orientation Lectures Readied The first in a series of exciting new lectures on "The World of the University" will be held today to-day at 11 a.m. in Orson Spencer Hall auditorium. THIS SERIES is in connection with the winter orientation program pro-gram for entering freshmen and transfer students. DR. KENNETH E. Eble, associate asso-ciate professor and head of the Department of English, will be-. be-. gin the program today with his examination of "The Idea of a University." SUBSEQUENTLY, four other Programs in the series will include in-clude participation by Dr. Oak-y Oak-y J. Gordon, Dr. Walter Hahn and student representatives. , The intent of these programs acquaint the student with Be University as a communal wrid in which there are many testing and exciting areas w may explore.
