Show Viet Student Offers Utes Information 'South Viet Namese student, Nguyen Trong Hien will be the first speaker in the International Periscope Peri-scope series sponsored by the Students Stu-dents from Abroad Committee. Mr. Hien, a Chemical Engineering major, ma-jor, will discuss the current situation situa-tion of his country in Union 323, Thursday, Nov. 7 at noon. . Mr. Hien, who says that several weeks ago he predicted the present situation in his country, will attempt at-tempt to analyse the situation and its implications in his country and the world. A Buddhist, Mr. Hien is a sophomore sopho-more attending the University on an AID scholarship. He was born in North Viet Nam. International- Periscope is a new program which will give foreign students an opportunity to represent repre-sent views of their countries and to express personal opinions to American students. The meetings, which will be held once every two weeks, are designed to stimulate better relations among students by providing more intimate contact with students from abroad. Anyone interested in the South Viet Namese situation is welcome to come to the meeting to listen to Mr. Hien and to present any questions. |
