Show Leland Jones of Monmouth, Ore . stopped at The News office of-fice Wednesday. He reports that Mr. and Mrs. Connell Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gates, also -former Milforcl residents now living in Monmoulh, send greetings to all their Milford friends. Leland .is now branch president of the LDS ward in Dallas, Oregon. While here Mr. and Mrs. Jones and children were guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Jones, South Milford, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bonn, in Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Jefferson Jeffer-son and baby of Ruth, Nev., were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Jeflerson for Christmas. e Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowley, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Craw and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Garfield, all of Logan, are in Milford for the holidays. Mrs. W. S. Parkinson enjoyed visits from her children, over the Christmas holiday. Mr. and Mrs. John Terry were here from Rupert, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emal and daughter Jeannie' Lynn, of American Fork. Frank Grimes Sr. and daughter daugh-ter Betty, of Kansas City, Mo., are in Milford, guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grimes Jr. The group spent Thursday in Las Vegas- Mr. and Mrs. Everett Clark . and daughter of Los Angeles were at the home of Mrs. Clark's mother, Mrs. William Denny, on Christmas day. This , was the first Christmas in 25 ' years Mrs. Clark spent with her mother. Jean Eyre of Cedar City spent a few days in Milford this week, visiting Bob Crane .while he was heme from the USAC. Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Crane and daughter Ileen left Thursday for Price to spend a few days with their son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Nielson. Niel-son. e Dean Stoker who is stationed j at Treasure Island in San Francisco Fran-cisco Bay, is enjoying a 30-day j leave at home. Also joining the Owen Stokers Thursday for the remainder of the holidays were Mrs. Barbara Jones and children and Mrs. Maude Stoker of Provo. Katherine Sherriff of Salt Lake is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Sherriff. Mrs. Susie Sampson of Salt Lake is visiting her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliston. Mr. and Mrs- Edward Oxley are spending a few days with Mr. Oxley's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Oxley, en route to Hawthorne, Calif., j where they will make their home. O Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Farnow and children have been in Minersville, Min-ersville, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Myers, and in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Brown and children spent their Christmas in Salt Lake with Mr. Brown's parents. Walt returned home Christmas night, and Mrs. Brown and the children remained re-mained until SunrH--. Shirley Hutchings and Norma Reese of Los Angeles were in Milford three days during the holidays, at the homes "of Mr. and Mrs. David Reese and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lindsay and baby of Provo and Mr- and Mrs. Max Roberts of Magill, Nev., were in Milford over the holidays, guests of parents Mr. and Mrs. V Waddoups. Personal Mention Mr. and Mrs. Jesse E. Long, Jay and Billy left Monday for a week's visit with Mr. Long's sister and family in Riverside, Calif. Mi-, and Mrs. Ronald Banks and son spent Christmas with their daughter and family in Los Angeles. a Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Persons and baby and Mr. and Mrs. Myron My-ron Persons are spending the holidays in California visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Heslington of Santa Monica, Calif., are visiting at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter. They will also visit Mr. Hesling-ton's Hesling-ton's parents in Minersville. O Mr. and Mrs. Graham McAl-eston McAl-eston of St. George spent Christmas Christ-mas at the home of Mr- and Mrs. Fay Bradfield. Mrs. Walter Carlton and daughter Mavanee, of Provo, spent several days here visiting friends. They were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund. They will also visit in Cedar City before returning to Provo. The Carltons are former Milford Mil-ford residents. Mr. and Mrs. Del Holyoak spent a few days with their son and family in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs- Vern Shingle-ton Shingle-ton spent Christmas in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Outzen were in Salt Lake Christmas i Day visiting relatives. Q Mr. and Mrs. James Ivors of Salt Lake ' spent several days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I, Altaian. They returned to Salt Lake Christmas Day. 9 Lt. Col. and Mrs. C. M. Johnson, John-son, and children Caffie, Lind; and Carl, of Twenty Nine Palms, Calif., are visiting Mrs-Johnson's Mrs-Johnson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes. Col. Johnson ,s be-ing transferred to' Norfolk, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Panti joined the family for Chiistma . Dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Glenn and baby Susan, of Rock. Spring's, Wyo-, spent the holiday holi-day season with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Glenn, and grandmother; Mrs. Susan Glenn. Mr. and Mrs- Howard Cook and daughter Betty of South Milford and Mr. and Mrs. M. E- Handley enjoyed Christmas dinner with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Koch. Miss Alta Fae Crosby, Miss Vanda O'Leary and Gene Ever-sole Ever-sole of ..as Vegas were visitors at the nome of Mr. and Mrs. Fred O i,eary on Sunday, Dec. 23rd. Bert O'Leary, who is attending attend-ing the BYU, was home for the holidays. Mrs. Z. P. Draper is in Texas visiting a daughter. |
