Show Little League Finished Season "In the Black' Final report of finances 'for the Milford Little League was released this week by Mrs. Judy Briscoe, treasurer, show- ing a balance on hand of $319 and bills outstanding of $192. From sale of hamburgers, pop and ice cream, and a bake j sale, the organization realized $423,24; donations at ball games, $281.41; donations of sponsors, Lady Trainmen and parents for suits, $951.57, for a total of $1656.22. Expenditures were $1336-89 for baseball equipment, building build-ing dugouts, insurance, and National Na-tional Little League membership, member-ship, and purchase of suits. Mrs. Briscoe said all parents of 12 year olds who graduated from the Little League have been reimbursed for money advanced ad-vanced for suits, except for some parents who voluntarily contributed the suit money to the league- "The wonderful support and cooperation of the.parents, the players, and the general public was greatly appreciated," Mrs. Briscoe said. Officers for the coming year are Robert Berger, president; Gale Banks, vice president, Jean Handley, secretary, and Mrs. Briscoe, treasurer. |
