Show DAVIS, BOWN SWORN IN AS CITY COUNCILMEN John Davis, newly elected city councilman, and Bud Bown, appointed to fill an unexpired term and reelected to office, were sworn in Tuesday evening by City Recorder Vernon M. Burns. They will hold office for four years. The city marshals were instructed in-structed to vigorously enforce en-force the recently enacted "leash law" dog ordinance, and ihe ordinance pertaining to discharging air guns inside the city limits. Dogs running at large between be-tween 8 p. m. and 9 a. m. are to be shot, according to the law, and owners of the dogs are also subject to fine. Discharge of air guns or flippers flip-pers inside the city limits, by adults or minors, is prohibited by law, and officers were instructed in-structed to enforce this ordinance. |
