Fordham back to the Capitol City, where Ralph will enter the Veterans Hospital to undergo surgery for a back injury. Mrs. Glen Blackner and Mrs. G. A. Fordham attended the bread - making demonstration given by Miss Elna Miller, nutritionist nutri-tionist from the U S A C, at the Beaver High schooL Miss Miller Mil-ler was assisted by Miss Fern Johnson, home demonstration agent for Iron County. Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey and family are planning to make their home in South Milford in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Horton were visiting in Milford Monday. NEWS NOTES FROM GREENVILLE By MRS. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess to Alice Barton, Lillian Williams, Wil-liams, Ann Williams and Macel Horton. The Greenville M-Men sponsored spon-sored a dance Saturday night. Music was by the Greenville orchestra. Douglas Briggs returned to Camp Carson Sunday, having spent the week-end here with his wife. Barbara is at home with her parents until Doug is released from the service. David Calvert teamed with Billie Merrill of Beaver to participate par-ticipate in the debating contests at the state forensic meet last week-end. They earned a rating rat-ing of "superior." Visitors at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Elders Milo Baker of the State High Council, and Evan Patterson. Members of the Bishopric and Sunday School officers and teachers attending the Sunday School convention in Parowan last Sunday were Bishop D. James Williams, G. A. Horton, Blaine Blackett, Dan Thomas, Kenneth Barton, Margaret Blackner, Celeste Blackner, Lillian Lil-lian Williams and Nell Blackett. Mrs. Julia Griffiths was in Paragonah on Sunday to visit her sister, Mrs. Amy Prothero, who had the misfortune to break |
