Show ELMER MARSHALL SERIOUSLY HURT IN ACCIDENT Elmer Marshall of Miners-ville Miners-ville was critically injured in an auto accident on the Min-ersville-Cedar City road at 10:30 a. m. last Tuesday. He is in the Cedar City hospital, with his condition listed as "very critical." Mr. Marshall had been on the range south of Minersville watering cattle, and was returning re-turning to his home when the brakes on his truck failed. Unable Un-able to shift into a lower gear because of the speed of the vehicle ve-hicle on a down grade, Mr. Marshall Mar-shall lost control of the truck, j and it overturned three times, completely demolishing the ve- X hide. i Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hollings- j head and Mrs. Alba Gillins, en route to Cedar City, reached the scene of the accident shortly after it occurred, and assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stewart, 1 who also arrived shortly after the accident, they rushed Mr. Marshall to the hospital at Cedar Ce-dar City. He suffered two crushed vertebrae ver-tebrae and other back and neck injuries. |
