Show were conducted by Chaplain Pitchforth, at which greeting were received from representatives representa-tives of 20 organizations. The room was filled with many beautiful floral offerings wliich later were taken to the Veterans Veter-ans Hospital. The Golden Jubilee convention conven-tion was visited by Past National President Florence Stark of Camden, N. J., who praised Utah's auxiliary projects, one of which is Milford's memorial. MRS. PITCHFORTH INSTALLED AS STATE V F W AUXILIARY OFFICER At the state V F W convention conven-tion held in Salt Lake City last week, Mrs. Theressa Pitchforth was installed as Department junior vice commander, and Vivian Frost of St. George, as chaplain. Earl R. Milne of St. George' was named Utah Department commander. From Milford the encampment was attended by Auxiliary President Pres-ident Susan Murdock and Mrs. Pitchforth. Both attended the department president dinner at the convention, where entertainment entertain-ment was furnished by the grandmothers of the D U P. Saturday, memorial services |
