Show CANCER DRIVE TO BE ONE - DAY CAMPAIGN Milford will have a onie-day drive for funds for cancer re-' re-' search, next Monday, it was announced today by Mrs. Selar Hutchings, local campaign I "Block workers" have been named to make personal, house-to-house calls on the es-idienfs es-idienfs and businessmen. Mrs. Hutchings pointed out hat cancer is the "No. 2 killer" I in tlie U. S., and one person dies every three minutes from this malady. Only thru research and early treatment can the disease be controlled. Utah has received special grants for research at the University of Utah, along with other universities, and each day students and scientists are delving delv-ing into the fields of science and medical research in an effort to Hint a cure for cancer.
