Show BACCALAUREATE SERVICES USHER IN GRADUATION WEEK The Baccalaureate services for twenty-nine grades of the Milford High school will be conducted con-ducted in the high school auditorium audi-torium at 8:15 o'clock Sunday evening, May 25. Mr. T. Edgar Lyon, instructor of religion and philosophy at the Institute of Religion of the University of Utah, will address the graduates. School patrons will remember him for his stirring remarks made to the Class of 1945 at a similar occasion. To augment the services, Miss Lucile Smith will present Lizst's piano composition, compo-sition, "Liebestraume" opus 3, and Mr. John B. Williams will present two vocal selections, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Kenneth C. Farrer. Mrs. Vena Wilson will offer the invocation and Bishop George C. Goodwin will offer the benediction. The Milford High School Band will play on the lawn of the school just preceding pre-ceding the services. A special invitation is extended to the parents and friends of the graduates grad-uates and to all adult patrons of Milford, to attend this service. Tuesday, May 27th, at 2 p. m. the Senior Award assembly will be conducted. Special awards will be given to the graduates who have given outstanding performances per-formances in the various fields of school work during the four-year four-year period of high school training. train-ing. Instructors in charge of the various departments will present the different awards. A special assembly will be given by the Seniors Class of 1947 at which time the class will, class history, prophecy and poem will be read.
