Show SENIOR PLAY TO BE PRESENTED MONDAY NIGHT i The Senior class of Milford High school will present the melodramatic farce, "Laughing Gas," a play in three acts by Charles D. Whitman, on Monday, May 19, at 8 p. m. in the High School audtiorium. A nominal admission fee will be charged. The cast of characters includes Mrs. Merlino, an Italian landlady, land-lady, Corinne Marks; Penny Whitman, a young visitor in New York, Utahna Hardy; Miss Amy Whitman, her aunt, Bonnie Bon-nie Vernon; Olga, a Swedish housemaid, Patsy Leech; Vivian Whitman, Penny's sister, Joyce Scott; Chris Wynn, a young detective de-tective story writer, Howard Bingham; Flavia Winterspear, a modern poet. Jerrie Lyman; Paul Van Doren, a radio actor, Ray Kesler; Kittie Doe, a chorus girl, LaRae Evans. Ambrose Rosenbloom, a policeman, po-liceman, Fred Baker; Judge Haley, Ha-ley, Arnold Swindlchurst; stage manager. Kent Hanney; prompter, prompt-er, Don Ashworth: advertising. Kathlyn Holm: director, LaVeta Holm. The action of the entire play-takes play-takes place in the living room of a furnished apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City. |
