Show Mrs. O. R. Holbrook of Salt Lake City is visiting with iher son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Holbrook and, family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Holbrook and daughter Connie, Mrs. O. R. Holbrook Hol-brook and Mrs. Merrill Edwards were in Cedar City Wednesday shopping and visiting. Mrs. Ruth Williams of Adams-ville Adams-ville underwent a major operation at the Milford hospital on Monday, January 20. Lucinda Patterson of Beaver underwent un-derwent an appendectomy at the Milford Hospital on Tuesday, January Jan-uary 21. Word has been received of the death in California, last Monday, of Mr. Ernest Coudel, former resident resi-dent of Milford. Mr. Coudel had suffered from some time with Bright's disease. t Rae Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter of Minersville, is recovering in the Milford hospital after being in very serious condition condi-tion with a ruptured appendix. Mrs. Glenna Thompson is seriously seri-ously ill, confined to the Milford hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hniman enjoyed en-joyed a business and pleasure trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the early part a" the week. They flew to the Ne: vada city, and took in some of the "hot spots" while there. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham received re-ceived a letter this week from their son, Charles Durant Bingham, saying say-ing he had arrived at his destina-j tion, Clionju, Korea, and was well and happy. Charles, assigned to the counter-intelligence forces of the Army Air Corps, left Seattle November 30, and arrived in Korea on January 11. Koch, while en route from his home in Lynn, Minn., to Concord, Calif., stopped off several days to visit his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch. He left on Sunday for Salt Lake City, where he will visit a niece, Mrs. J. H. Hawkins and family, fam-ily, before returning to California, where he is employed. Mrs. Howard W. Cook and daughter Betty, of South Milford, spent Monday with Mrs. Cook's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon and Linda, small daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Vernon, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vernon. |
