Show Heart attack fatal for Arnold Bredesen Funeral services for Arnold Antonis Bredesen who died June 18, 1969 of a sudden heart attack at a Tooele hospital, hos-pital, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Kolob Stake House directed by Bishop Ralph Snelson of the Eleventh Ward. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary Friday evening eve-ning from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday Sat-urday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Spring-ville Spring-ville Evergreen Cemetery with full military rites. Mr. Bredesen was born January Jan-uary 25, 1926 in Provo, the son of Arne and Agnethe Lassen Las-sen Bredesen. He attended schools in Provo. He was in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a recipient of the purple heart. He served in the Pacific area. He married Betty Mason January 11, 1950 in Springville Arnold A. Bredesen and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Tem-ple. By occupation he was an oiler oil-er with Morris-Knudson Construction. Con-struction. Active in the Boy Scout organization, or-ganization, he served as assistant assist-ant Scoutmaster. He was a member of the Eleventh Ward Sunday School Superintenden-cy. Superintenden-cy. He held the office of an Elder in the priesthood. His hobbies were fishing and hunting and he was an avid sportsman. Survivors besides his widow are three daughters: Kathleen, Jan Larene, and Patricia; his mother, Mrs. Neta Corless; a sister, Mrs. Robert H. (Arna) Osborn; two brothers, John and William all of Springville. |
