Show Services held Tuesday for J. F. Johnson ' Funeral services were held Tuesday at Wheeler Mortuary chapel for Joseph Fielding Johnson, John-son, 79, retired miner, residing at 96 East Center who died Thursday night, December 28, 1967, at the Payson hospital. Bishop Melvin Haymond of the Ninth ward, officiated. Burial was in Heber City cemetery. cem-etery. Mr. Johnson was born Aug. 8, 1888, in Mapleton, a son of James and Eliza Witmore Johnson. John-son. He married Annie Naomi Watson Sept. 27, 1916. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Johnson was a miner by occupation, and an elder in the LDS Church. He loved hunting and fishing. Surviving are his widow of Springville; two sons and a daughter, Harold W. Johnson of American Fork; Edwin L. Johnson of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Harold M. (Geraldine) Perkins of Springville; 14 grandchildren; and one brother, Solomon Johnson of Richfield. |
