Show Interesting book reviewed at club Rea Straw gave a most interesting inter-esting review of Sam Leven-sen's Leven-sen's book, "Everything but Money," at tlie Ladies Literary Club meeting Wednesday evening eve-ning of last week. Mrs. Berton Groesbeck was hostess and served a nicely arranged ar-ranged tray luncheon preceding the program. Wit and humor characterized the book reviewed, giving insight in-sight into the author's early home life and describing the closeness of the large family of boys and one girl. Julia S u m s i o n, program chairman presided over the first part of the meeting with President Merle Schreiner conducting con-ducting short business. Helen Anderson read the club collect. Special guests of the evening were Mae Finley, Philda Finley, Leah Harrison, Beth Miller and Martha Bird. |
