Show Son of former resident takes bride in West Coast ceremony School, where the bride was a member of the Tanda Club and was also flag girl. I Word comes from Monterey Park, Calif., of the marriage of Miss Dana Beth Olive, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olive of South San Gabriel, and Douglas M. Fullmer Full-mer son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert L. Fullmer former residents of Springville. The marriage was an event of April 13 taking place in the late afternoon in the Monterey Park LDS Ward Chapel with, Bishop Romer P. Bell performing perform-ing the ceremony. A reception in the Cultural Hall followed the ceremony and was attended by some 400 relatives and friends. Attending the bride were Tobi Stark, matron of honor, and Sandy Beal, Pat Collins, Janice Dudley and Sharlene Sanders, bridesmaids. Russell P. Fullmer, brother of the groom was best man. The bride was given in marriage mar-riage by a brother-in-law, Jack Stark. Tom Daban, Richard Lane, Floyd Etrue and Jim Comaian-ni Comaian-ni were ushers. Jackie Stark was flower girl and Richie Stark, ring bearer. The bride was charmingly attired in a bridal gown of chantilly lace and organdy with wide scalloped lace bordering bord-ering the bouffant founces. The gown was designed with cathedral ca-thedral train, sabrina neckline, neck-line, long tapered sleeves and basque waist. Her veil of illusion was arranged ar-ranged to a forehead flower of tulle delicately jeweled and she carried a bridal bouquet of white orchids and marguerites. The chapel was decorated in white Easter and calla lilies and large white isle bows with clustered old-fashioned peak roses while the cultural hall was decorated with pink flowers flow-ers and bells with a large circle cir-cle serving table. Both young people are graduates grad-uates of Mark Keppel High NEW BRIDE Mrs. Douglas M. Fullmer, the former Miss Dana Beth Olive, who was married April 13 in California. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Walker returned recently from an enjoyable en-joyable 2-weeks vacation trip to Arizona. They spent a short time at Phoenix, enjoying a tour of the botanical gardens. They also stopped briefly at Scottsdale and spent five days at Mesa going through the temple and visiting points of interest. They went down by way of Las Vegas, where they called on former neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Omar Reed and with them' they visited the church welfare farm, the new airport and other tourist attractions. They also went to Boulder Dam. At St. George, they visited vis-ited briefly also with Mr. and Mrs. Alton Biglow, formerly of Springville. They returned by way of Four Corners Park, viewing the monument there and other scenic spots enroute. |
