Show Mill Creek WBBA League plans queen contest for 9-12 girls attendants will reign at the contests. A special meeting has been called for April 19 at 6 p.m., at the Mill Creek diamond for all girls wishing to enter either the queen contest or the pep club program. These girls must live within the league's boundary, bound-ary, north of Fourth South an east of Fifth East. Further details can be had by calling Mr. Bertelsen. Mill Creek's WBBA League will sponsor a queen contest for that league among girls of the corresponding player age, 9-12 in an effort to help raise funds for the league play this year. To the selected Mill Creek queen (who must come from the boundaries of the league) will go a $25.00 dress, shoes and hairdo. Two attendants will be selected and they will receive appropriate gifts also. The contest will run from April 19 to May 15 at 5 p.m. League .president, Scott Bertelsen Ber-telsen reported that the contest con-test will run thusly: each girl will be given one point for each dime raised by canvassing in . the Mill Creek area. The girl with the most points will be named queen. Next two highest . will be named attendants tc the queen. Proceeds will go to the league.
