Public Instruction," stated As-1 As-1 sistant Supt. G. Grant Gardner Gard-ner today. 1 Since the beginning of the year the three schools have been busily engaged in an extensive ex-tensive self-evaluation of each entire school operation. In the past two weeks, a state team of approximately 24 educators composed of state office directors direc-tors of secondary education, principals, counselors librarians librar-ians and university educators rechecked this evaluation and gave their own appraisal. These team members repre sented almost all areas in the state from Logan on the north to Cedar City on the south. Much credit for the success of the study goes to the faculties facul-ties of the three schools to the teachers for the hours of work spent in evaluation of their own work, to the custodians custo-dians for the outstanding job they did in cleaning their buildings, to the school lunch departments for delicious meals served during the team visits and for their fine cooperation, to secretaries for all of the hours of extra work that were added to their schedules, to the principals who accepted willingly the responsibility to manage and guide through the study in their schools, and to parents and students who assisted as-sisted with the study. |
