Show Funeral held Saturday for Vernal Beardall Funeral services were held Saturday, in the Fourth-Tenth Ward Chapel, for Vernal He-ber He-ber Beardall, 64, 83 No. 3rd East, who died Thursday, April 8, 1965, at Utah Valley Hospital Hospit-al of a heart attack. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, under direction of Wheeler Mortuary. Mr. Beardall was born June 24, 1900, in Springville a son of John P. and Lettie Mae Houtz Beardall. He was married mar-ried to Annie Maraby Bird, Nov. 23, 1923, in Evanston, Wyoming. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following his marriage he lived and farmed in Salina until 1937, when he returned to Springville. Spring-ville. Mr. Beardall was employed at the Remington Arms Plant in Salt Lake City during World War II. The last 20 years he was employed as a pipe fitter for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. He was an elder in the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife of Springville; two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Max (Norma Jean) Christensen and Neil J. Beardall, both of Springville; Lewis E. Beardall of Salmon. Idaho; Mrs. Ray (Carol) Shepherd of Spanish Fork; a stepson, Dern Strange of Spanish Fork; 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a brother, Clifford Beardall of Provo; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Barlow of Springville; Mrs. Sadie Sa-die Sharp of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Jack (Mabel) Koyle of Salem. |
