Mrs. Orpha Dee Johnson enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Rexburg, Idaho, last week, where she visited at Ricks College with her daughter, daugh-ter, Brenda. It was invitation week for the mothers, and they attended classes and socials with their daughters from Wednesday through Friday. An interesting sidelight of the events was a talent show in which Mrs. Johnson sang in a trio with two mothers from Mapleton, Idaho. Olive Whiting accompanied Mrs. Johnson as far as Black-foot, Black-foot, where she visited with her daughter, Ardith Jensen and her family. On the return trip, Brenda came down to Weber We-ber College, where she visited with Diane Bills over the weekend. week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Lunt, home parents for the David Lee home for boys in Mapleton, Maple-ton, are holding open house Saturday, April 3 from 10 to 5. Anyone interested in seeing the home is invited to come during those hours. Spencer W. Kimball Kim-ball of the Council of Twelve will be at tne home at 3 o'clock to offer the dedicatory prayer. This is one of the Ettie Lee homes. She has ten boy's homes in California and three in Utah, with two more being under construction. There are nine boys at the Mapleton home, all of them between the ages of 14 and 16. Miss Lee considers this to be one of the finest of all the homes she has built. It is located at 2300 East 2nd North, near the mouth of Maple Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Everett had as visitors Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. LaCell Haymond and daughter, Debbie, of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Bergesen and duaghter, Lael of Ogden. ' Eldon Best returned home Monday after spending a week in the Utah Valley Hospital, where he received treatment for a cut on his hand. His hand was cut while working, and became be-came infected. Mapleton Lion's Club held their March social at the Ideal Cafe in Spanish Fork last week. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Tut-tle Tut-tle were inducted as new members mem-bers by President Glen Holley. Mr. ' Holley also introduced the following visiting Lion members mem-bers from Orem: Mr. and Mrs. Marion Clark, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Burr, Mr. and Mrs. Max Brown, Mr. and Mrs. J. D.
