Show Services held for C P. Starr former resident Funeral services were held Tuesday 'afternoon in the East Millcreek Ninth IXS Ward, Salt Lake City, for Courtland P. Starr, 55, former resident of Springville, who died of a heart ailment Saturday, Sept. 19, 1964, enroute to a hospital. Burial was in Salt Lake City. l Mr. Starr was born in . Springville, Aug. 26, 1909, a son of Alfred LeRoy and Mary Jane Burraston Starr. He spent his early life in Springville Spring-ville attending schools in this city and graduating from the local high school. He married Phobe Peterson April 1, 1937, in the Salt Lake Temple and had been active in LDS Church work being a member of East Millcreek High Council. He had been employed with Kennecott Copper Corp., for the past ten years. Surviving besides his wife, are a daughter and three sons: David Allen Starr of Los Angeles; An-geles; James Alfred, Gary Lynn and Christine Marie Starr all of Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters: Alfred LeRoy Starr, Salina; Warren A. Starr, Pullman, Wash.; Mrs. Grace Clyde, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Blaine (Edna) Thorpe, Gurnee, 111.; Mrs. Richard L. (Eva) Loveridge, Los Angeles, Calif.
