Boorman was the hostess Friday afternoon to members of the Home Culture Club at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Erie Boorman in Provo. The program featured Mrs. Martin Conover in a talk on the history of shoes. In connection con-nection with her talk, she presented pre-sented a number of original drawings and also added considerable con-siderable interest by displaying some of the newer styles from Clark's in Provo. Joe Hafen, Provo, son of the artist, John Hafen, attended the meeting to explain why and how the paintings at the high school art museum should be restored. Announcement was made that the Home Culture Club had presented the high school Art Museum with a lovely walnut wal-nut bench. The annual Guest Day program pro-gram was announced for May 1, to be in the form of a tour of BYU campus with lunch at the school. Vernon Castleton was in attendance at-tendance at an international p r o f e s sional photographer's convention in Ogden last weekend week-end and was elected to the board of directors of the organization or-ganization which represents six western states.
