Mrs. Emma Long returned recently from a two week's vacation va-cation and visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Jack and Louise Murphy, and two children at Spokane, Washington. Washing-ton. They took her on a delightful de-lightful tour into Canada, also to the Grand Coulee Dam and through a missile site. Vernon Harmer of Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Georgia Weenig and son, Paul, of Po-catello; Po-catello; and Georgia and Clara Harmer of Salt Lake City spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Retta Harmer in Springville, coming especially to attend the funeral services of their aunt, Mrs. Floss H. Taylor. Attending the Federated Music State Convention at Hotel Ho-tel Utah Saturday, were President Pres-ident Eileen Bird, Carol Clark and Zina Johnson of the Springville Federated Music Club and Minerva Jessee and Winona Killpack representing the Musettes. Mrs. Bird and Mrs. Jessee each gave reports on their respective club activities. activ-ities. i Mrs. Irene Strong has been visiting several weeks at the home of her son, Ted Strong in Hurricane, Utah. They have enjoyed sight-seeing in the nearby parks. |
