Show CHRISTMAS CONCERTS AT SUSC Two concerts are scheduled sched-uled by SUSC for the com- ing week. A Christmas concert con-cert featuring the SUSC Wind Ensemble will be held December Dec-ember 14, at 8 p.m. In the Thorley Recital Hall. The symphonic wind ensemble en-semble Includes the same instruments found in a marching mar-ching band, the difference being that the wind ensemble ensem-ble usually uses one musician for each part of music rather than several. Included In the Sunday Evening concert including Le Roy Anderson's 'A Christmas. Christ-mas. Festival' 'The- Snow-Carol', Snow-Carol', 'The Christmas Suite', Su-ite', and 'Carols of Old England.' Eng-land.' On Monday, December 15, an Audience Sing Along will be highlighted at a Christmas Christ-mas Choral Concert in the Thorley Recital Hall, at 8 p.m. This concert will feature the a'capella cioir, chamber chorale and Renaissance Renai-ssance ensemble. Numbers will Include 'What Child Is This God Rest Ye Merry, Lo How A Rose E'er Blooming, and Sleigh Ride. Also featured will be several selections from Handel's Messiah. Everyone is Invited to attend at-tend the free concerts and find that elusive Christmas Spirit. |
