They enjoyed a nice visit with their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Nat Smith, and son, Tommy, all of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Os-born Os-born (Billie) entertained and enjoyed a visit from friends, Denise and Harvey Cooke, of Los Algeles. Jane Firmidgr, of Ocean-side, Ocean-side, CA, was in Milford this past week visiting and enjoying a good time with some old friends, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Osborn, Mr. and Mrs. Tom James, and also reminisced with Milt Pool. Waldo and Vie Yardley, of Beaver, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Osborn, of Milford, spent Labor Day in Pioche, and on their way back stopped stop-ped in at Enterprise to visit with Ray and Elva Stewart and their family, and two sister in laws, Ida andCarol Stewart. They stayed over night with Leo and Ruby Stewart, and enjoyed a nice dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Rod Hall, also of Enterprise. Mrs. Hall is the daughter of Leo and Ruby Stewart. Ben and Judy Briscoe had an old fashioned fish fry. Those . there to enjoy the famed catfish were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Briscoe and chil dren, Nina and Darren; Bill and Colleen Johnson, and children, Brenda, Benjieand Colby; Mildred Loveridge and Betty Johnson, of Ely. And recent visitors of Ben and Judy was their daughter, Doris Baker, of Fairbanks, Alaska. Margaret Watson and boys, Shaun and Ryan, of Twin Falls; and Jean and Marshall Auzenne, from Winchester, CA, also visited. visit-ed. Mr. and Mrs. Ab Holm, of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Chick Holm, of Milford; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Holmes, of Cedar Ce-dar City;Mr. andMrs. Charlie Char-lie Holm and children, Clayton, Clay-ton, Angle, Shan and Shad. Jim and Barbara Mayer and son, Aaron, traveled to Salt Lake City, to enjoy the Utah State Fair, where Aaron participated in the Farm Bureau Bu-reau Talent Show. Heplayed a piano solo. Also while at the Fair, they met with their daughter, Adele McGinn, and her children, of Ogden. Also appearing in the talent tal-ent show in the 'exhibition only' category, were Suzanne HaxkIc Da 111 Tl , , CCr. U.IJI Puffer, Jamie Maxey and Janet Coon. Overnight visitors at the Alden Johnson home were Mr. and Mrs. James Newman New-man and Jackie, of Palro-dale, Palro-dale, CA. The Newman's son, Duane, arrived in Cedar Ce-dar by plane, and after picking pick-ing him up, they continued on to Bullfrog, where they had rented a houseboat. Mr. and Mrs. Tom James ;i :' - ' -7 Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Holm and Heather and Ryan; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Holm, and Melissa, Rachel and Lynette; Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Holm and Shelby Jo. This reunion is the first gettogether of the six Holm brothers in 30 years. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gil-lins Gil-lins spent last Saturday in Cedar City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. GeraldStoker.They also attended a reception for Brad Myers and wife. Cullen and Nancy Carter had their son, Derek, blessed bless-ed in the Milford 2nd Ward, and after the services had a dinner in their home. Those attending were Ray and Carol Carter, of Beaver; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Gale, and family, of Midway; Mr. and Mrs. Brad Gale, of Cedar; Ce-dar; Gladys Myers and Nettie Net-tie Myers, of Minersville; Mr. and Mrs. Arnell Gale and family, of Beaver; Mr", and Mrs. Mark Carter, and family of West Jordan, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gale, OF Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas , Baxter, and son, Jeremy, were here visiting from Troutdale Oregon, and to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter. Mrs. Margie Gale, of Cedar, Ce-dar, spent last Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker. Mrs. Dora Pool received word from Bill Tribole, of Bountiful, about a rare honor his wife, Hinauri, received re-ceived from the Queen of England. |
