Show Samita Pictures Annually the COUNTY NEWS shoots pictures of county youngsters as they talk to Santa Claus. Pictures are confined con-fined to those youngsters who need a boost to get on Santa's knee. Many too young to speak, others with a well rehearsed speech. Some cry, and others tug on Santa's beard to see if it's real. Each in their own way is unique, and cute. Santa Claus is an institution in Milford, Mil-ford, and Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson have played that role in Milford for 12 years, and the COUNTY NEWS has been capturing them on film for 10 years. Many of the youngsters are second generation, now queing up as their parents did. For the first time this year, the Johnson's own grandchild was in the line of several hundred youngsters to talk to them and get a stocking full of candy. Space does not permit all the Santa pictures to be published. However, prints are available avail-able at a nominal charge, of all youngsters young-sters whose pictures were taken, at the COUNTY NEWS office. While you're picking up your pictures, pic-tures, be sure to take advantage of the fabulous subscription offer to the COUNTY NEWS.
