Show traveled to Parowan to be with Brent and Holly Marshall Mar-shall for their wedding. Knight, Mrs. Allen Jones and their families, spent the night with their mother, Mrs. Effie Marshall, and to be here for Brent's wedding. Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. Mort Davis, that their son-in-law, Doug Thomas had died. They left for California to be with their daughtr, Lanae, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pitch-forth Pitch-forth was visiting Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Hol-lingshead, Hol-lingshead, of Monroe, are visiting their parents this weekend. Chad is doing his student teaching at Monroe. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Nielson, and family, from Ogden, are also here visiting the Mar-shall Mar-shall Hollingshead family. Many friends and relatives Mrs. Goldie Marshall. They brought a new screen door and hung it for Goldie's birthday. Mrs. Bernice Gillins celebrated cele-brated her birthday with a family dinner Tuesday night. Most all of her brothers and sister and family were there. Craig and Jetta Davie brought their new sons home from the hospital. Everyone is happy to have them home at last. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gillins Gil-lins have moved into their new home. It is certainly beautiful. Helen Davis celebrated her birthday Tuesday. Her husband says she is the same age as he is now. Tex Dennis' is spending a week in California visiting his family. Fay and Betty Marshall, Lee and Lynea Marshall are home after spending five days in New Orleans. They were there for a dairy meet - Many people are running here and there to get their shopping done, but they don't tell me, so I can't get it in the paper. Mr. and Mrs. GaroldEyre met Marybelle's sster, and husband in Las Vegas last week and had a great visit. Mr. and Mrs. Denny Ros-now Ros-now moved back to California after spending a few months living here. Last Saturday ten men went to St. George and did Temple Work. Included were Bishop Ross Marshall, Karl Truman, Daisel Davis, Darwin Dar-win Marshall, Net Craw, Phil Roberts, Delbert Jameson, Mr. Joseph, Russel Banks, and Bill Gibson. Sunday,Dan and Eva Davis Da-vis celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Their children had a nice dinner for them to help celebrate the event. Mrs. DougThomas andher three children are staying with her parents for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood spent a few days in Las Vegas visiting their children. |
