Show Barbeque for new SUSC students A mountain barbeque is one of the many activities planned for new SUSC students stu-dents during orientation next week. "Well over 500 freshmen and transfer students are expected to gather at Woods Ranch for the barbeque," said Betty Kingsford, associate as-sociate dean of studnets. An Open House where the students and their families can meet SUSC President Orville D. Carnahan, student stu-dent body officers, faculty and staff will be held on September 23, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the SUSC Management Man-agement Home, 331 West 200 South, Cedar City, Utah. The barbeque activity at Woods Ranch will be on Sept. 24 from 5-8 p.m. Transportation Trans-portation will be provided and the activity is for new students only. Fall quarter class work begins September 25th. Other opening week activities acti-vities will be a fall fair, a movie, a recreational free for all, a variety show, and the disco dance wheh wraps up orientation week Sept. 29. |
