Show Rol?rta Conde Once again our small community com-munity lias lieen saddened by Ihe tragic and untimely death of LaRue Rowley. She shall le missed by family and friends. J We extend our sympathy to Arvilla Williams in thelossof her aunt and uncle, Vera and j Clinton Bond. Our hearts reach out to the families in Milford of Bob , and Verna Tomsik, Mrs. Flo- : rence Myers, Gladys Bush and Helen Cook. They may be gone, but never forgotten. May those that were injured have a very speedy and complete recovery. We are here on earth for only a limited time and life most go on for those who are left. Pam and James Wheeler are looking forward to the new one on the way. Even the kids are excited about the new baby. Mollie and Wayne Gonder are back up in the hills with their cattle. They take their trailer, small one, and it makes it really nice, almost like home. I understand they plug lights into the "Current Bush." Have you seen the commercial commer-cial showing the family leaving leav-ing and then returning home. When they open the door, a wall of water dowses them. Well, it wasn't that bad, but there was at least 4 inches -of water throughout the home of Becky and Billy Williams when they returned from their short vacation. Thank goodness good-ness we have had nice, warm and dry weather, so everything every-thing will dry out. Bud and Gen Richardson took daughter, Blanche and !ier two children back to Salt Lake on Wednesday. Blanche will return to her home and iusbnd in Canada in a few Jays. Fred, Baron, Lady and I, took a mini vacation and drove to the Lions cabinet meeting in Truckee, California. Our motel was located right on Donner Lake. The pines are seven stories high and the lake - what beauty. Everything Every-thing was just super. So many memories returned. My family travelled the old highway high-way for many a year to visit my aunt in San Francisco and the people are just as nice as ever. But it was a long drive home. On Thursday, we drove over to Milford to see the doctor, and Fred got a shot in the shoulder. The gals at the Clinic are neat - but nutz! From Corvallis, Oregon, Jett and Angie Carpenter were to the Snake Valley Reunion. As I said, you who didn't come surely missed out on a good time. Glad to see Pauline Aquiso out of the hospital. Hope she stays well. Mae and Dudley Du Mont, have the cafe at the Cove, are getting everything packed so they can go home to Carson City. It was a very, poor year, due to the gas scare. Even the attendance at the Cove was down from previous pre-vious years. While Bud and Gen Richardson Rich-ardson were in Salt Lake last week, they had a family reunion. re-union. From Bullfrog, Chubb, Shirley and 2 gals, Blanche and her two boys, Donna and her two, plus Blanche and Earl Yersin, the great -grandparents. That's a full house. There were two flights of Canadian geese go over this Monday morning. Beautiful, but this means winter is close behind. And Christmas isn't too far away either. Now I could have gone two months without saying that. We haven't seen deputy sheriff Steve Allred since he was here for the reunion dance. Hope we didn't do him in. Please return, Steve, all luv you. Remember - you cannot expect ex-pect to feel God's presence if you are too busy. |
