Cash prizes of $150.00 and $75.00 are again being offered for the best displays, dis-plays, with as many different groups as possible urged to get into the Spirit of Christmas Christ-mas and compete. Power will be furnished by Milford City, and you need only to fill out the application blank on page four of this issue of the COUNTYNEWS, or you may pick up one at the city office. Entries must be in the city office by Wednesday, December 13th at 4:00 p.m. to compete for prizes. Displays Dis-plays must be set up by Wednesday, December 20th . for judging on Friday, December 22, and must be left 1 up until Saturday, December 30th. The Lady Lions have arranged ar-ranged for Santa Claus to visit Milford on Saturday, December 16th, to talk to the youngsters and to pass our Christmas stockings full of candy. The Lady Lions will also hold their annual lighting contest with three prizes each in two categories, residential resi-dential and business. Prizes are $15.00, $7.50, and$5.00. The ESA Sorority also has their annual Christmas giveaway give-away underway with fabulous prizes for a boy and a girl. Plan now to participate in these events and make this one of the merriest Christ -. mases ever.
