Show Adamsville j'''e ' Bessie Edwards son were in Overton for a couple of days the past week. Mrs. Doris Hamill and a friend, Wesley Austin, were dinner guests at the home of Bessie Edwards on Wednesday. Wednes-day. Doris will be remembered remem-bered as Doris Murdock to her friends. She lived in Greenville several years ago. Mrs. Virginia Hockins of Stockton, California, a sister of Mrs. Agnes Hudson, is visiting the Hudsons. Rex and Renee Williams of Meadow spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Williams and other "family members. Mr. TassClarige returned from Overton, Nevada, on Thursday. Sunday, his wife, Elva, came home after spending two weeks in Illinois Il-linois with her daughter and family. Bessie Edwards motored to Provo and Salt Lake, Friday. Fri-day. She attended the Wedding Wed-ding Open House for her neice, Leslie Ann Fordham. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bailey of Ventura, California are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Hudson. Arthur Blackner was in Milford last Sunday for the blessing of another great-grandson, great-grandson, and the family went to the Temple. Mr. Blackner said he was very pleased, as this made all eight of his grandchildren who are married, to have Temple marriages. JoAnn Blackner went to American Fork on Friday, accompanied by her sister, Connie Fails. They visited the Elwood Lunds and shopped shop-ped in Provo then went on to Lehi to the ball game before be-fore returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dicks have relatives visiting with them. Mr. and Mrs. George Hud- The Sacrament Meeting program Sunday was given by the Ray Kesler family. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Ches- 1 ley and family, Blair and Vance Cooper, all of ' Salt Lake City, Mr. andMrs. Ronnie Chesley and family, Roy Chesley and family and several of their friends, all of California, returned to their homes after spending ten days at their home here. Ken Barton spent a couple , of days in the Milford Hospital Hos-pital after a painful accident while caring for a cow. One of his fingers was mangled which made it necessary to, have the finger taken off at the ' first joint. He is im -proving but is not able to do his work at this time. Mrs. Nettie Fordham, 1 Bessie Edwards, Janie Ferguson Fer-guson and daughter, Kris, all motored to Caliente last Sunday, where Janie and Kris 1 visited Janle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Harrison, and 1 the others visited Mrs. Fordham Ford-ham 's sister, Mrs. Dorothy Davis. ' A sister-in-law, 1 Mrs. Vera Calvert, and her daugher, Mrs. Lola Stunk were also visited. They all returned Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Him -mler and daughter returned to their home in Las Vegas after spending two weeks at their home here. Arthur Blackner accom -panied Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Yardley to Cedar last Sunday Sun-day where their great-grandson great-grandson was blessed and given his name. Arnold and Elaine Swin- 1 dlehurst of Bounlder City, Nevada spent some time with 1 her father, Arthur Blackner, and other relatives on their way to Provo, to take their son, Lee, to school at the BYU. Mrs. Afton Kesler was in Provo the past week on business bus-iness with the PTA. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Fordham Ford-ham of Lyman, Wyoming, along with their family spent some time with relatives here, before returning home. Mrs. Mary Ann Williams Is doing some of her studeiA teaching at the Beaver Elementary Ele-mentary School. . Dennis and Beaulah Farnsworth and Becky and Tom Bartlett were In St. George doing Temple work last week. Mrs. Beaulah Farnsworth was in Provo helping her daugher, Mary, and family. She returned home Wednesday. Wednes-day. Elmer and Rita Cosper went to Las Vegas, Nevada last weekend where they met Rita's three sisters andhus-bands andhus-bands for a family reunion. Two were from Illinois and one from Arizona, and it was the first time they have been together for twenty years. The Cospers reported a very enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Gil Becenti and baby were Fillmore the past week looking for a home to rent. The Bencintis are moving were soon as uirs work with the Forest Service makes it necessary.
