(Chuck) Atkin, 52, prominent businessman and life -time resident of Milford succumbed to a heart attack Sunday, September 10, at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. He had been recovering from an attack at-tack suffered last month. He is survived by his wife, Suzan, sons, Todd, Jeff and Darrel and daughter, Robyn, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin; sisters, Mrs. Robert (Irene) Carter, all of Milford and Mrs. Max (La Rue) Williams and Mrs. Deward (Lois) Nay, both of Salt Lake City. Mr. Atkin had been a long time businessman in Milford, Mil-ford, and proprietor of Atkin At-kin Auto Service. He was born February 8, 1926 in Milford to Warren and Lillian Tanner Atkin. He married Suzan Williams March 1, 1961. He was a member of the LDS Church, the Beaver County Jeep Patrol and served serv-ed in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. Services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 1:00 o'clock in the Milford LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Milford City cemetery with military graveside rites under the direction di-rection of Olpin Mortuary. |
