Show ' , . Weddinci Bells Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Lewis of Moapa, Nevada announce an-nounce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lillian, Lil-lian, to Travis N. Beniah of Cedar City, Utah. The bride-to-be is a 1976 graduate of Moapa Valley High School and a four year seminary graduate. She is currently attending SUSC with one year of study in Business Busi-ness and one year of study in Child Development. She received re-ceived a gold certificate for operating Business Machines at SUSC. While in High School Lillian was a member of the Honor Society, served on the Student Council as a paper editor, marched in the drill team, was listed in 'Who's Who Among American High School Students", and received the Betty Crocker award for Moapa Valley High. The prospective bridegroom, son of Mae J. Para-shonts Para-shonts and foster son of Mr. and Mrs. McCoy Williams, is a 1972 graduate of Milford High School and a third and fourth year graduate of seminary. While in High School he active in baseball, basketball, and football. He served on the paper staff and yearbook staff for Milford High. He was honored as Playmaker of the Year in Basketball by KSL-TV in 1972. Travis fulfilled a mission to Indiana and served the latter 6 months as a guide in Navoo, 111. Presently Travis is attending SUSC seeking a degree in Sociology. While in college he has served on the Student Stu-dent Senate as Arts and Letter Representative. He served on the LDSSA as a Young Adult Representative, and was a nominee for Man of the Year in 1976-1977. He has also worked with many organizations and activities groups on campus. Travis is presently chairman of the Cedar Band of Piute Indians. The couple plan to solemnize their marriage in the St. George Temple on June 2, 1978. They plan to make their home in Cedar City and continue their education. They will have a reception June 2nd at the Logandale, Nevada Cultural Cul-tural Hall, and an Open House June 3rd at the Cedar City Stake Center from 8-10 p.m., and a barbeque at Milford, Utah on June 10th from 7-9 p.m. at the McCoy Williams home. All are welcome to come. |
