Each year as the local economy has slowly eaten away at the young marrieds who produce schoolchildren,, the enrollment in the county has dropped. Milford lost ground in both the high school and elementary, ele-mentary, and Beaver High School is also down. On the bright side though is a healthy increase at Belknap Bel-knap and Mlnersville picked up a couple of students also. This year's enrollment figures show Milford Elementary Ele-mentary at 165, Belknap 317, and Mlnersville 72, in grades kindergarten through sixth. Milford High School registered regis-tered 159 in six grades 7-12, 7-12, to 280 for Beaver High. The threat of consolida- |
