Show fvv'lf MR. AND MRS. WILFORD J. ROBINSON ROBINSON'S TO CELEBRATE FIFTY GOLDEN YEARS TOGETHER SUNDAY The children of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford J. Robinson will honor their parents with an Open House on Sunday to observe their 50 years of matrimony. The Open House will be held at the Minersville School Multipurpose Room, Minersville, from three to five p.m. The couple was married on April 4th, 1924 in Beaver. The marriage was later soleminized in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1945. -They lived in Minersville for thirty -five years before moving to Beaver where they spent most of the last 13 years. They recently moved back to Minersville where they now make their home. To this union were born four children, Roldo of Tooele, Genevieve Clark, Salt Lake City; Larena Schwab, Mt. View, Wyo.; and George of Lehi. They have 16 grandchildren and four ment work (retaining wall, . walks, etc.) Alvaretta was born to William Wil-liam and Hanna Alice Corn- , ford Corbridge. She has been active in the L. D. S. Church serving as Primary President, Counselor in M. I. A., Teacher in Gene- ( ological Society, County President of Daughters of ! Utah Pioneers, plus other offices in the Beaver and Minersville Camps. She ' presently holds the office of Captain in the Lincoln Camp and was a teacher in the ! Relief Society. She was also a choruster in church i for 14 years. She also served as chair- ' man of the Minersville Cen- i tennial in 1959 and was edi- ' tor of the Minersville History His-tory "They Answered The Call." They expect all children and grandchildren to be present pre-sent for the Open House and will welcome their friends. great-grandchildren. Both Wilford and Alvaretta Alva-retta have been active in community affairs throughout through-out most of their lives. Wilford, 79, was born to James E. and Martha Rollins Rol-lins Robinson. He spent his early years mining, , working in most of the mines in Beaver County that were active at the time, including the Moscow, and Horn Silver. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad Rail-road for 18 years. Together they have served as custodians of tlr? Beaver County Courthouse and were employed by the Southern Utah' Mortuary in Beaver for 12 years. Wilford served six years on the Beaver County Welfare Wel-fare Board. He is a High Priest in the L. D. S. Church and a class leader. He supervised the building of the grandstand and race track (and planting of trees) at Milford and supervised Landscaping around the Library and City Park, and also supervised the ce- |
