Show THOMPSON-HARDY WEDDING SOLEMNIZED IN MILFORD WARD LDS CHAPEL AUGUST 13 Musical selection on a saw by Bonnie Easton, accompanied by Mrs. Joan Holland; Song, Margie Sherwood., accompanied accompan-ied by Helen Gillins; Musical Reading, Anna Rae Carter, accompanied ac-companied by Marge Mecham and then the closing prayer. ) The beautiful three tiered wedding cake was decorated in white and pink with pillars and the traditional bride and groom. Miniature bridesmaids and ushers were decending down the stairs on the sides of the cake. The serving tables were dor-orated dor-orated with pink and white Miss Judy Thompson, daughter daugh-ter of Mrs. Charlene Griffiths became the bride of Rulon J. Hardy on August 13th, 1971. The groom is the son of Mrs. Ida Hardy. bridal illusion. The wedding' ensemble was made by Anna Rae Carter. She carried a bouquet of white orchids, surrounded with' baby pink rosebuds. They wore pink lace dresses which followed the same empire em-pire waistline . style as the bride's dress. Their bouquets were large pinks mums encircled en-circled by white lace. The flower girls were Trina Flemming Flem-ming and Cindy Jo Ashley. They carried baskets of pink and white flowers. The bride's mother wore a cream colored crepe dress and the mother's corsages were or-orchids. or-orchids. The best man was Lorraine Hardy, the ushers were Scott Cook, Tommy James, Bill Ashley, Ash-ley, Arthur Flemming and Dennis Hardy. A reception followed the wedding ceremony in the LDS Cultural Hall with a program and dancing. Robert Puffer was master of ceremonies and the program was as follows: i Opening prayer, James Hardy; Song, Jeff Hardy- accompanied by Robin Goff; Tap Dance, Camille Lamb; Reading, Phyllis Whittaker; Duet, Gladys Whit-taker Whit-taker a.nd Judy Baily. accompanied accom-panied by Marge Mecham. Reading by Richard Easton; ' The Milford L.D.S. Chape was the setting which was officiated of-ficiated by Bishop Lamar Lund. The bride was beautiful in a wedding dress of nylon sheer over taffeta. It was trimmed with rows of lace and satin ribbon, accented with seed pearls. The chapel was of the same nylon sheer with satin ribbon and lace flowers centered cen-tered with seed pearls, her veil was a Juliet cap of matching! lace, ribbon and pearls with lace with center pieces containing con-taining a miniature bride and groom surrounded by ruffles of net. |
