Show Let's Go Back By Phyllis Whittaker December 1917 The families of Georgj R. Williams and Henry Baker were tach increased last week by the arrival of a daughter. Among the students home for the holidays are Stanley Mc-Knight Mc-Knight a.nd LeRoy Eyre who have been at the B. A. C, and Goldwin Marshall, who has been at Provo. The closing of the Minersville schools for the holidays was marked by appropriate exercises exer-cises both on Friday afternoon and in the evening. The evening program suffered from the attention at-tention of unknown persons who thoughtfully blew out tho fuse for the meeting house by putting a tack in one of the sockets. December 1929 Members of the Milford Lions Club, their ladies, and several invited couples from Milford and Beaver enjoyed a dance at the I. O. O. F. Hall last Saturday Satur-day evening. An amusing feature fea-ture of the dance was the initiation initi-ation of two new members of the club, LaMar Outzen and Willard Nichols. Each was presented pre-sented with a pair of hot shoes, through the thoughtfulness of the Telluride Power Co., and was told to clog. Mr. Nichols hot-stepped to perfection, but each time Mr. Outzen tried to move, he managed to grace the floor in a recumbent position. December 1947 Bobby Allen was six years old last Friday, Dec. 19th. A party was given in his honor at the home of his parents. Guests were; Sa.ndra Beard, Shiela and Sonia Coleman, Roger Rog-er and Linda Myers, Marjorie and Jay Edwards, Billy Martin, Danny James, Kay Root and Delores Allen. LaMarr Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Morris will arrive in Milford on Christmas Eve to spend the holidays with his parents. LaMarr is attached to the Underway Training Unit in San Diego. |
